Who runs this site

This website, phillyperforms.com, is operated by the Performing Arts Office of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation (“PPR Performing Arts”, “we”, “us”), a program of the City of Philadelphia. Fishtown Development builds and maintains the website on our behalf. Fishtown Development is not a party to any registration, employment application, booking or other arrangement between you and PPR Performing Arts or the City.

Using this site means you accept these terms

By using this site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. City of Philadelphia rules and policies may also apply.

Information on this site

The site gives general information about our camps, programs, events and venues. We work to keep it current, but dates, times, locations, fees and availability can change. Please confirm details with our office before you rely on them. Nothing on this site is legal, medical or other professional advice.

Registrations and forms

• Please give true and complete information on every form. If you register a child, you confirm you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or are allowed to register them.
• Sending a form is a request. It does not guarantee a place in a camp or program, a booking, or a job. We will contact you to confirm.
• For summer camp, a registration stays pending, and the spot is not held, until our office receives the registration fee. We take the fee at our office, not on this website.
• For refunds, cancellations, or changes to a registration or booking, contact our office.
• The waivers and releases you sign on a registration form are separate agreements with the City. These terms do not change them.
• Employment applications are handled under the City’s hiring rules. Sending one is not an offer of employment.

Photos, videos and content

The text, photos, videos, logos and design of this site belong to the City of Philadelphia, PPR Performing Arts, or the people who made them and gave us permission. You may view and download gallery photos for your own personal, non-commercial use, such as keeping photos of your own child’s performance. Do not use them for any commercial purpose, or in a way that identifies, embarrasses or harms a child, without our written permission.

If you send us a testimonial or photo, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to use it to describe and promote our programs. We will only publish a testimonial with your permission.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, do not:

• send false, misleading or someone else’s information;
• copy or collect the site’s content or other people’s information by automated means (scraping, crawling for data, bulk downloading);
• try to get into the dashboard, staff pages or any part of the site you are not allowed to use;
• upload or send malware, spam, or anything unlawful, threatening or abusive;
• interfere with the site, overload it, or get around its security or limits, including vote limits.

We may refuse a submission or block access when we think these terms were broken.

Other websites and services

The site links to and shows content from other services, such as the City’s jobs board, YouTube, Google Drive, OneDrive, OpenStreetMap and social media. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

No warranties

THIS SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT THE SITE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL CODE, OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PPR PERFORMING ARTS, THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA AND ITS OFFICIALS, EMPLOYEES AND STAFF, AND ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS, INCLUDING FISHTOWN DEVELOPMENT, WHICH BUILDS AND MAINTAINS THIS WEBSITE, ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SITE, INCLUDING A FORM THAT FAILS TO SEND OR INFORMATION ON THE SITE THAT IS OUT OF DATE. Nothing in these terms waives any immunity or protection the City has under law, or changes any waiver or release you sign on a registration form.

Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that PPR Performing Arts, the City of Philadelphia, or its service providers, including Fishtown Development, face because you misused this site, broke these terms, or sent false information or content you had no right to share.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute about them or this site will be heard in the state or federal courts for Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

If part of these terms does not apply

If a court finds any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
